Protecting children and young people is a shared responsibility across football. Safeguarding can be sensitive and complex, and it affects everyone involved. Woodford Junior Football Club is committed to the safety and well-being of all players, coaches, and volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KATIE DEARS: Welfare Officer<\/strong>
The Welfare Officer at Woodford Junior Football Club is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of all members. They handle any safeguarding concerns, promote a positive environment, and support players, parents, and coaches with welfare matters. The Welfare Officer also works closely with the club committee to ensure we follow all relevant policies and best practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEOP Statement<\/strong>
Woodford Junior Football Club is committed to keeping children and young people safe, both on and off the pitch. As part of this commitment, we support the work of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Command (CEOP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CEOP helps protect children from online abuse and exploitation. If you are worried about a child\u2019s online safety, or if a child is being pressured, exploited, or abused online, you can make a report directly to CEOP. Their specialist team will review the concern and take appropriate action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
